Expanded VANfit range from Multipart at CV Operator Show
At CVO Show (Stand: 5461). VANfit, the all-makes van programme from Multipart, is at the CV Operator 2010 show with the latest edition of its parts catalogue featuring an expanded range and a series of improvements to enhance ease of use and durability.
The impressive 300 page catalogue now lists 1,660 parts for 12 makes of light commercial vehicle from car derived vans to large panel vans and from all of the leading makers. There are parts for Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Iveco, LDV, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.
Parts are listed under 40 different categories to make it simpler to find an item. All part numbers are cross-referenced to those used by their OE manufacturers and leading OE and aftermarket suppliers. Extensive use of full colour illustrations and line drawings provides a useful aid to correct part identification. The catalogue can also be accessed on line.
The range of VANfit parts extends from electrical and mechanical components and fast moving items like wiper blades and belts to workshop consumables. All are stocked at Multipart’s state-of-the-art 250,000 square feet distribution centre at Chorley in Lancashire from where orders received before 6.00 pm are despatched for 8.00 am next day delivery (except Sunday) in mainland Britain.
VANfit parts are supplied through an 80 strong network of agents across the UK. Each has dedicated ‘phone lines for parts ordering staffed by knowledgeable people who can give help and advice. Each also provides a fast delivery service throughout their area offering, in many cases, twice daily deliveries.
“For independent garages servicing and repairing vans this is the catalogue to have, “says Brendan Leach, Multipart director responsible for the VANfit programme. It provides a one-stop-shop for all the parts they need for all of the major light commercial vehicle makes.
“Recent figures from Vosa show that vans have a particularly high MoT test failure rate and the VANfit range covers all the main areas on which vans fail. So the VANfit catalogue is the one to have at hand when getting a vehicle ready for a test or for sorting things out when it has failed. And with good availability, next day delivery and competitive prices, VANfit is definitely a great option.”
Details of the nearest VANfit agent can be found at www.vanfit.com or by calling 08702 416114.
As well as offering the VANfit range, Multipart provides parts support for the 115,000 LDV vans still in service for which it carries parts valued in excess of £10 million at Chorley. The company also supports truck company Isuzu, refuse vehicle maker Dennis Eagle, electric vehicle manufacturer Modec and bus maker Optare with a full parts supply service and provides specialist logistics services to the armed forces, the utility and beverages sectors.
