GBRf appoints new Head of Production
Lee Bayliss has joined GB Railfreight (GBRf) as the new Head of Production. Lee, 40, will be responsible for the real time delivery of all GB services via the management of the fleet and control teams, based in Peterborough.
He joins GBRf from DB Schenker and has worked in a variety of roles across the rail industry, bringing with him a wide range of service delivery experience in both GBRf’s current and emerging operational areas. With experience at senior level in both the freight and passenger sides of the railway, Lee was most recently Head of Bulk Services for DB Schenker before joining GBRf.
The newly created national access team will also report to Lee, along with performance teams and the GBRf business implementation team.
