Leading industry expert Nigel Kirkwood recently received an award for ‘Service to the Logistics and Transport Industry’ at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s North West Annual Awards for 2010.

The accolade reflects his long-standing work in the areas of digital and analogue tachographs, compliance and transport legislation.

Sir Moir Lockhead, chief executive of transport operator FirstGroup and CILT President, presented the award at an event hosted by senior BBC television journalist Dave Guest.
