In advance of this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show) a new mutually beneficial partnership will see Tachodisc promoting RAC’s range of truck services to its customers.

The idea for the agreement between the two major brands was sparked by a discussion at last year’s CV Show.

The partnership offers Tachodisc’s customers, both corporate and SME, the opportunity to access a range of pay-on-use and subscription-based truck breakdown packages.  Services on offer will start with RAC Truck Breakdown and then RAC Truck Insurance and RAC Truck Warranty.

Philip Jordan, Tachodisc’s Managing Director, is delighted to be working alongside RAC Business.  He said: “The partnership enables us to further extend the range of added value services we can offer our road transport customers.

“All operators need some form of breakdown cover to protect their business’s time and money, and with RAC Business we have the confidence of knowing that we are presenting high quality packages that are supported by a trusted and reputable company – RAC is as big as they come with more than 25 years’ experience providing specialist truck and van rescue services.”

Adam Smith, RAC’s Insurance Product Specialist added: “Partnering with Tachodisc in this way makes perfect sense and enables us to access a significant new part of the market, which may not have realised the value of our services previously.”

“It is a great opportunity to work in conjunction with another well-established and trusted brand, and also demonstrates the power of the CV Show where the initial idea for the partnership was first discussed.”
